Requests the Department of Education develop guidelines for lifelong learning approaches for individuals with Down syndrome and extend sign language instruction with speech to deaf and hard-of-hearing students with Down syndrome

Directs transmission of certified resolution copies to the Board of Education, Department of Education leadership, charter schools, independent schools, and Down syndrome advocacy organizations
