Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92F-12 to permit disclosure of names and salaries of undercover law enforcement officers after they have ceased working in an undercover capacity for at least five years.

Maintains the existing exemption from disclosure for information regarding present or former employees involved in undercover law enforcement activities, including undercover officers.

Defines "undercover capacity" as any law enforcement activity requiring an employee to conceal their identity as a law enforcement officer.

Defines "undercover officer" as a law enforcement employee who works in an undercover capacity.

Takes effect upon approval.
