Amends Section 444-8, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to allow specialty contractors to perform work in unlicensed crafts or trades if it constitutes no more than one-half percent of the total contract value.

Requires that work in crafts outside the specialty contractor's license must be incidental and supplemental to the primary licensed work.

Clarifies the threshold for when a specialty contractor may execute multi-craft contracts without additional licensing.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
