Amends the definition of "mixed martial arts" in Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 440E-1 to clarify that it involves unarmed combat using a combination of techniques including grappling, kicking, and striking from different martial arts disciplines.

Expands the definition to explicitly include kickboxing, pankration, muay Thai, and xtreme martial arts as forms of "mixed martial arts" for purposes of the chapter.

Becomes effective on July 1, 2012.
