Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes §346-46 to require nurse aide training programs and recertification processes to include multicultural health awareness and education.

Defines "multicultural health" as provision of health care services with knowledge and awareness of health determinants that cause disparities between different genders and racial/ethnic populations, including necessary practice skills.

Maintains existing requirement that recertification occur no less than every two years with continuing education hours not exceeding twenty-four hours, except as specified by federal law.

Applies multicultural health training requirements to nurse aides in Medicare/Medicaid certified nursing facilities and state-licensed or state-certified health care settings.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
