Establishes the Hawaii Sports Task Force within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to plan and coordinate efforts to retain the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii and attract major sporting events.

Task force charged with securing Hawaii as a host site for an NFL preseason and regular-season game, a world-title soccer tournament at Aloha Stadium, and a mixed martial arts Ultimate Fighting Championship tournament at Aloha Stadium.

Task force composition includes the DBEDT director as chair, plus representatives from the Governor's office, Stadium Authority, Aloha Stadium, Comptroller, Hawaii Tourism Authority, hotel/tourism industry, and legislative members from both chambers.

Task force shall meet quarterly, accept public testimony, and submit a report to the legislature by twenty days prior to the 2015 regular session with recommendations and strategies to achieve its goals.

Task force dissolved on June 30, 2015; members serve without compensation with expenses paid by their respective agencies; effective July 1, 2012.
