Establishes the Hawaii Super Bowl task force within the department of business, economic development, and tourism to plan and coordinate efforts to bring the Super Bowl to Hawaii.

Task force membership consists of 13 members: three from the Hawaii tourism authority board (appointed by governor), three hotel/tourism industry representatives (appointed by house speaker), three hotel/tourism industry representatives (appointed by senate president), two house members (appointed by house speaker), and two senate members (appointed by senate president).

Task force must hold at least three meetings during ordinary business hours, select a chairperson from its members, and members receive no compensation for expenses.

Task force must submit final findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than 20 days before the regular 2013 legislative session convenes and ceases to exist on June 30, 2013.

Takes effect on July 1, 2012.
