Prohibits physicians, osteopathic physicians, surgeons, and medical students from performing pelvic examinations on anesthetized or unconscious female patients without meeting specific conditions.

Requires prior verbal or written informed consent from the patient for pelvic examinations performed for teaching or training purposes.

Permits pelvic examinations without prior consent when the examination is within the scope of care for the scheduled surgical procedure or diagnostic examination.

Allows pelvic examinations without prior consent when the patient is unconscious and the examination is medically necessary for diagnostic purposes.

Amends Chapter 453 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes and takes effect upon approval.
