Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 84-17(d) to make financial disclosure statements of state board and commission members public records

Applies specifically to members of state boards or commissions with official authority to approve, issue, or renew permits or licenses relating to land use or water use

Expands current public disclosure requirements that only covered governor, lieutenant governor, legislators, state department directors and deputies, and certain other state officials

Aims to increase transparency and accountability by making financial disclosures of board and commission members with permitting and licensing authority available for public inspection and duplication

Takes effect upon approval
