Places of public accommodation with at least 100 parking spaces must designate at least one parking space exclusively for electric vehicles and equip it with a charging system by July 1, 2012.

Electric vehicle charging systems must meet SAE J1772 standards and comply with article 625 of the National Electrical Code.
