Establishes a temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) benefits and coverage task force within the department of human services to address problems in administering the TANF program.

Task force shall consist of 11 members including a House representative, Senate member, DHS director, TANF administrator, child welfare administrator, attorney general, one TANF recipient, and four representatives from community organizations selected by the governor.

Task force shall research how other states cover TANF benefit costs and develop a working plan of services that TANF recipients may be required to perform to continue receiving benefits.

Task force shall submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2013 regular session convenes.

Task force shall cease to exist on June 30, 2013; takes effect July 1, 2012.
