H.C.R. NO. 194 - Waikiki Natatorium Task Force

• Request the Department of Land and Natural Resources Chairperson to convene a task force to study future development possibilities for the Waikiki Natatorium War Memorial site.

• Task force shall include representatives from the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Department of Health, Office of Veterans' Services, University of Hawaii, and City and County of Honolulu Department of Design and Construction.

• Task force members shall serve without compensation and shall consider various uses including beach sports, public events, and honoring Hawaii veterans.

• Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2013 Regular Session convenes, with the task force dissolving on June 30, 2013.

• Transmit certified copies to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, Director of Health, Director of Office of Veterans' Services, President of the University of Hawaii, and Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu.
