• Requires annual training on promoting peace and respect, investigation procedures for violations, reporting mechanisms, and public statewide statistics on incidents.

• Mandates designated primary contacts at the Department of Education and each charter school for anti-bullying policies, anonymous reporting options, and consequences for retaliation against reporters.

• Board of Education must report to the Legislature by twenty days before the 2013 Regular Session with status, findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation.
