Declares each Saturday and Sunday to be "Eat Local, Buy Local" Days in Hawaii to encourage purchasing of locally-grown foods, flowers, and produce.

Recognizes that Hawaii imports approximately 85 percent of its food supply and has less than five days of food reserves if imports were disrupted, making local agricultural production critical to food security.

Notes that Hawaii's agricultural industry generates over $300,000,000 in annual sales and supports diverse products including livestock, crops (sugarcane, pineapple, macadamia nuts, coffee, cacao, ginger, vegetables), and value-added products (milk, eggs, honey, chocolate).

States that purchasing Hawaii-grown products keeps money within local communities, supports family farmers and food producers, reduces transportation-related carbon emissions, and preserves agricultural land.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, county mayors, Board of Agriculture Chairperson, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Dean, and leaders of relevant agricultural and food industry organizations.
