Requests establishment of a task force chaired by the Comptroller to study restructuring and reorganization of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts

Task force membership includes the Executive Director of the State Foundation, Director of Business/Economic Development/Tourism, Hawaii Tourism Authority President/CEO, and 12 members nominated by House and Senate committees and counties

Task force directed to study the Foundation's effectiveness, infrastructure, organizational structure, management efficiency, current and new duties, potential new missions, and implementation methodology

Task force members must be appointed within 30 days after the 2012 Regular Session ends, with initial meeting within 30 days of final appointment

Task force must submit progress report to Legislature by 20 days before the 2013 Regular Session convenes and final report with recommendations and proposed legislation by 20 days before the 2014 Regular Session convenes
