Requests the City and County of Honolulu to waive all fees and fines incurred or to be incurred by the Waimanalo community related to construction and demolition of the Kupuna Terrace.

Acknowledges that the Waimanalo community volunteered hundreds of work hours and donated over $50,000 in materials to build an eleven-picnic-table park on Department of Hawaiian Home Lands property after receiving permission to clear the site.

Notes that the City and County of Honolulu cited safety concerns regarding the Kupuna Terrace's placement on sloping terrain, proximity to Kalanianaole Highway, and limited parking.

Requests the City and County of Honolulu allow adequate time for proper restoration of the site to its original state as the community completes demolition and cleanup efforts.

Directs transmission of a certified copy of this resolution to the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu.
