Commends and congratulates Candonino Agusen and Jackson Button as the 2012 Hawaii State Honorees of the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.

Candonino Agusen, a 16-year-old junior at Kealakehe High School, raised over $64,000 for earthquake relief in Japan and an additional $2,000 through making origami cranes.

Jackson Button, a 13-year-old eighth-grader, co-founded a nonprofit that raised nearly $100,000 to support projects aiding children in Africa, Mexico, and the United States, including scholarships, orphanage facilities, and school supplies.

Scott Fetz and Jessica Sonson recognized for extensive volunteer work including managing fundraising initiatives, serving in school leadership positions, and providing community service through organizations like the American Red Cross and medical centers.
