Identifies that budget cuts have eliminated the full-time Small Business Advocate position, with remaining staff assuming those duties while managing other responsibilities.

Notes that reductions in staffing and funding have undermined the Board's mission to review state administrative rules and county ordinances that adversely affect small businesses.

Calls for the state to recognize the Board's important role as a watchdog for small businesses and demonstrate support through restored resources.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be sent to the Governor, the Director of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, and the Board's Chairperson.
