Request the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) to acquire the "Honolulu Ford parcel" and other Kamehameha Schools-owned lands located in Kakaako makai.

Direct the HCDA to develop acquired parcels for medical or scientific uses that complement the existing synergy between the John A. Burns School of Medicine and the University of Hawaii Cancer Center in Kakaako makai.

Require the HCDA to submit a progress report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2013 Regular Session, including any proposed legislation related to the land acquisition.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Governor, HCDA Board Chairperson, medical school dean, cancer center director, and Kamehameha Schools Board of Trustees Chairperson.
