Appropriates funds from general revenues as a grant to Positive Moves, Inc., a qualified nonprofit organization, for fiscal year 2012-2013.

Grant funds support implementation and administration of the "millions of kids moving monthly" project to promote physical activity in the community.

Project aims to establish renewed commitment to physically active lifestyles, with emphasis on encouraging parents and children to exercise together.

Appropriation to be expended by the Department of Health pursuant to chapter 42F, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Act takes effect on July 1, 2012.
