Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 467-14 to require the Real Estate Commission to consider whether a licensee relied in good faith on information provided by other persons or third parties when evaluating misrepresentation and failure to disclose material facts.

Applies good faith reliance standard to paragraphs (1) and (18) of disciplinary grounds, covering making misrepresentations in real estate transactions and failing to ascertain and disclose all material facts concerning property.

Provides licensees with a potential defense or mitigating factor in disciplinary proceedings by allowing commission consideration of whether they reasonably depended on information from others.

Takes effect upon approval.
