Urges the Governor to appoint a Long-Term Care Coordinator to coordinate programs, supports, and services for Hawaii's long-term care recipients, caregivers, and families.

Coordinator shall recommend strategies to improve quality of life for long-term care recipients, reduce costs, and improve organization and delivery of long-term care supports and services.

Coordinator shall recommend strategies in consultation with the Insurance Division to increase awareness of long-term care insurance.

Coordinator shall promote interagency cooperation among state and county agencies including the Executive Office on Aging, Department of Human Services, Department of Health, Insurance Division, and Area Agencies on Aging.

Coordinator may coordinate with existing boards and task forces, convene working groups with long-term care recipients, families, caregivers, and stakeholders to ensure recommendations achieve the resolution's goals.
