Encourages banks and credit unions operating in Hawaii to incorporate the Hawaiian language as an option in their automated teller machines (ATMs)

Recognizes Hawaiian as an official language of Hawaii and notes growing Hawaiian language proficiency through immersion schools, charter schools, and university programs

Asserts that Hawaiian language ATM options would enhance cultural experience for visitors, attract culturally interested customers, and demonstrate respect for Hawaiian culture in contemporary business

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, major banks and credit unions, and Hawaiian cultural organizations for coordination and implementation
