Authorizes the Senate President to expend appropriated funds for legislative and other expenses of the Twenty-sixth Legislature, Regular Session of 2012.

Empowers the Senate President to contract, hire, or employ personnel and assistance to complete Senate work after session adjournment and determine employment periods.

Grants the Senate President authority to approve the Journal of the Senate for any legislative day compiled as of the 60th legislative day.

Permits the Senate President to perform other duties necessary to complete the Twenty-sixth Legislature's work after adjournment, including official legislative business between the 2012 and 2013 sessions, through January 16, 2013.

Authorizes the Vice President to carry out responsibilities enumerated under Rule 4 of the 2011-2012 Rules of the Senate.
