Urges the Department of Land and Natural Resources to expand the comprehensive information system established by Act 54, Session Laws of Hawaii 2011, to include public facilities in addition to public lands

Directs creation of a comprehensive asset management system covering both public lands in the state public land trust (ceded lands and other state lands) and public facilities

Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to coordinate with the Department of Accounting and General Services in developing the comprehensive asset management system

Finds that centralized, accessible information about state lands and facilities is necessary to enable sound economic decision-making and optimal use of state resources

Committee on Ways and Means recommends adoption of the resolution
