Notes that while the Lord's Resistance Army is no longer active in Northern Uganda, it is suspected of continuing violent campaigns in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, and South Sudan

Committee on Transportation and International Affairs received testimony supporting the measure and recommends its adoption

Urges federal government action to end the Lord's Resistance Army's violent acts and aid in restoring stability in Uganda and the surrounding region
