Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes chapter 712, part V (nuisance abatement) to add gambling offenses (part III) as qualifying offenses for nuisance abatement action.

Modifies section 712-1270 to include buildings, premises, or places used for violating gambling laws in the definition of nuisances that shall be enjoined, abated, and prevented.

Provides law enforcement with an additional enforcement tool to address gambling rooms that have been associated with violent crimes and drug distribution.

Creates consequences for property owners and landlords who fail to take action against ongoing gambling activity on their property.

Takes effect upon approval with no retroactive application to rights, duties, or proceedings begun before the effective date.
