Establishes a gift shop in the Hawaii state capitol to sell merchandise inspired by the capitol's architecture and Hawaii's history to the thousands of annual visitors.

Finds that a gift shop would provide financial benefits to the state, similar to gift shops operated by national parks, while promoting local businesses through custom-designed products.

Appropriates an unspecified amount from general revenues for fiscal years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 for establishment and operation of the gift shop.

Designates the Department of Accounting and General Services to expend the appropriated funds.

Takes effect on July 1, 2013.
