Exempts owner agreements with attorneys to file claims or contest administrator denials from the general prohibition on locating/recovering abandoned property agreements.

Caps attorney compensation at 25% of total property value for agreements to file claims or contest denials of identified property.

Allows attorney compensation exceeding 25% only when an owner pursues an action in circuit court under section 523A-16, subject to court approval.

Removes the previous exception language and creates a new subsection (f) establishing specific rules for attorney agreements under this statute.

Effective July 1, 2050.
