• Appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal year 2014-2015 to match funds for offender reintegration programs, contingent on matching contributions from outside public or private entities.

• Funds are designated for competitively bid programs providing reintegration supports, job training, employment placement, and case management for persons convicted of crimes re-entering the community.

• Appropriated funds shall be expended by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

• Establishes intent to incentivize partnership and investment in holistic treatment and support services designed to enable ex-offenders to achieve self-sufficiency with Department of Public Safety collaboration.

• Takes effect July 1, 2075.
