Appropriates funds to establish a statewide aging and disability resource center with sites in each county to streamline access to long-term supports and services for older adults, persons with disabilities, and caregivers.

Acknowledges that resource centers are operational in Hilo and Maui, scheduled for implementation on Kauai in late 2013, and planned for Kona and Oahu in 2015.

Recommends that the Committee on Ways and Means consider an appropriation amount of $1,800,000 to properly resource and fund the centers as a single point of entry for individuals seeking long-term care options.

Received testimony in support from the State Council on Developmental Disabilities, Executive Office on Aging, county offices on aging, AARP Hawaii, healthcare and disability service organizations, and seven individuals.
