Removes the sunset provision from Act 239 (Session Laws of Hawaii 2007) that was scheduled to expire on December 31, 2014, making the General Excise Tax exemptions permanent.

Extends the GET exemption for amounts received by submanagers of homeowner and community associations for common expenses paid.

Extends the GET exemption for amounts received by hotel operators and suboperators from their operator, owner, or timeshare association for employee costs.

Makes these tax exemptions permanent by deleting language that would have repealed them and reenacted prior law on December 31, 2014.

Effective date: July 1, 2030.
