Recognizes one day in September 2013 as Hydrocephalus Awareness Day in Hawaii to increase public awareness of the disease and support for those affected.

Acknowledges that hydrocephalus occurs when excess fluid builds up in the brain and affects approximately 1 out of 500 babies born with this incurable condition.

Notes that the United States Congress designated September as National Hydrocephalus Awareness Month in 2009.

Credits the Hawaii Chapter of the Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation and state co-directors for leading efforts to increase public awareness and information about hydrocephalus in Hawaii.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Director of Health, and Hawaii Chapter of the Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation.
