Request the Legislative Auditor to conduct a study identifying possible revenue generation through alternate uses of state-owned property at the Oahu Community Correctional Center site.

Auditor must review and evaluate alternative development options for the commercially zoned property to determine its highest and best use.

Auditor must identify potential revenues, costs, and expected issues from converting the correctional center property to alternate revenue-generating activities.

Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2014 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Director of Public Safety and the Acting Auditor.
