Urges the Governor and Public Utilities Commission to seek island-specific alternatives to proposed industrial wind generation facilities and an interisland high-voltage undersea electric transmission cable system planned for Molokai and Lanai.

Notes that Act 165 (2012) authorized construction of the interisland cable system to link Oahu consumers to wind energy facilities on other islands, but does not mandate its construction.

Identifies concerns about wind turbines including fire hazards, structural collapse, blade expulsion, landscape degradation, noise pollution, and potential health risks to nearby residents.

States that residents and community groups on Molokai and Lanai have strongly opposed the wind energy generation facilities.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Public Utilities Commission Chairperson, Maui County Mayor, and specified community organizations on Molokai and Lanai.
