Requests the Auditor to conduct a management audit of the Department of Health Sanitation Branch, which has never been audited before.

Auditor shall examine the effectiveness and efficiency of the Sanitation Branch's operations in four areas: inspections and enforcement, permit and license issuance, professional licensing, and education.

Sanitation Branch oversees inspections and permitting for food establishments, milk plants, dairy farms, public swimming pools, tattoo establishments, and mortuaries.

Auditor must submit findings and recommendations report to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the start of the 2014 Regular Session.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Acting Auditor, Director of Health, and Deputy Director of the Department of Health Environmental Health Administration.
