References research showing 84 percent of teachers use the Internet weekly to find engaging content and that students using computers more frequently for writing performed 5 to 19 points higher on the 2011 National Assessment of Educational Progress writing assessment.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Superintendent of Education and the Chairperson of the Board of Education.
