Request the Office of the Auditor to conduct an updated audit of the University of Hawaii's management of faculty workload, building on previous audits from February 1973 and April 1997.

Previous audits identified absence of clear policies governing faculty resource utilization, inadequate utilization of instructional faculty, and improper compensation practices.

Office of the Auditor shall report findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2014.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor and the Board of Regents of the University of Hawaii.
