Notes that TRICARE Reserve Select monthly premiums are considerably lower than the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund monthly premium rates.

Identifies potential cost savings for the Trust Fund when employees choose TRICARE Reserve Select, as the Fund would not pay the employer's share of premiums for those employees.

Proposes that offering to pay TRICARE Reserve Select premiums could incentivize more eligible employees to choose that coverage option, generating significant savings for the Trust Fund.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the Director of Finance and the Board of Trustees of the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund.
