Requests the Department of Transportation to restripe the southbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road from two lanes to three lanes beginning at the Fort Weaver Road and H-1 overpass.

Identifies severe congestion during rush hour traffic on southbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road as the reason for the request.

Notes that northbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road are already striped for three lanes and experience smoother traffic flow.

Requires the Director of Transportation to receive a certified copy of the concurrent resolution.
