Urges the Department of Agriculture to establish a grant program for farmers implementing natural farming techniques, specifically the Cho global natural farming methodology developed in South Korea over the past 50 years.

Recognizes that global natural farming has been successfully demonstrated in over 30 countries as a viable agricultural method without conventional pesticides and fertilizers, using local resources and indigenous microorganisms.

Notes an existing six-acre natural farming project in Waianae, Oahu (operating since June 2010) that has improved product quality, increased yield, and decreased production costs and water consumption.

Requests the Department of Agriculture accept applications from agricultural producers on forms prescribed by the Department to qualify for natural farming grants.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture.
