Notes that the Comprehensive Partnership was launched by President Barack Obama and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during Obama's 2013 visit to Indonesia, building on discussions begun in 2009.

Highlights Indonesia's strategic importance to United States interests due to its location along key international maritime straits, particularly the Malacca Strait, and notes the beginning of Indonesian tourism to Hawaii in 2013.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the United States President, Indonesian President, State Department Secretary, Indonesian Foreign Minister, Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman, and Co-Chairs of the United States-Indonesia Society Board.
