Urges the City and County of Honolulu and Oahu Transit Services to construct public restroom facilities at the Alapai Transit Center, which opened in May 2012 without public restrooms despite initial plans promising them.

Notes that the Alapai Transit Center is becoming one of Oahu's busiest transit hubs with approximately 75 million annual TheBus passengers, and that lack of restrooms has led to public health and sanitation issues in surrounding areas.

References that other transit centers (Middle Street/Kalihi, Waipahu, and Wahiawa) already provide public restrooms, and the bus-riding public has submitted petitions and requested facilities.

Urges the City and County to ensure all future transit centers have adequate public restroom facilities as a matter of public health and safety.

Directs certified copies be sent to the Mayor, Managing Director, Director of Transportation Services of Honolulu, and the President and General Manager of Oahu Transit Services.
