Declares October as "Farm to School Month" in Hawaii to recognize programs that connect local farms to school cafeterias and integrate food and agriculture education into schools.

Requests the Department of Agriculture in cooperation with the Department of Education to create and implement a Farm to School Program in Hawaii's public schools.

Aims to address childhood obesity (which increased 38% in Hawaii between 1999 and 2009) by incorporating fresh, locally-sourced produce into school meals and providing hands-on learning activities like school gardening and farm visits.

Requires the Department of Agriculture and Department of Education to submit a progress report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2014 Regular Session convenes.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Board of Agriculture Chairperson, Board of Education Chairperson, and Superintendent of Education.
