Changes the inscription on Queen Liliuokalani's memorial statue at the state capitol to reflect her coronation date of January 29, 1891 and death date of November 11, 1917

Establishes legislative findings that Hawaiian sovereignty was never relinquished during the 1893 overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii and that Queen Liliuokalani remained the rightful Queen until her death

Acknowledges the 1993 U.S. Apology Resolution (Public Law 103-150) which formally apologized for the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom and the suppression of Native Hawaiian sovereignty

Declares that the statue inscription should be "befitting of the honor and greatness of Queen Liliuokalani" as a tribute to the Hawaiian Kingdom

Takes effect upon approval
