Establishes the Disposition of Remains Act to create a priority list of persons authorized to control the disposition of a decedent's remains, including location, manner, and conditions

Provides procedures for resolving disputes regarding the right to control disposition of remains

Grants funeral establishments, cemeteries, mortuaries, and crematories the right to rely upon and act according to written instructions in funeral service agreements or similar documents

Allows funeral directors and managers of funeral establishments, cemeteries, mortuaries, and crematories to recover reasonable expenses for disposition of decedent's remains

Aligns Hawaii with 48 other states that have enacted similar laws specifying priority of persons who may control disposition of remains
