Repeals specific base monthly contribution amounts for the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) that were established effective July 1, 2003, and July 1, 2004, including amounts for supplemental medicare self plans ($218-$254), supplemental medicare family plans ($671-$787), non-medicare self plans ($342-$412), and non-medicare family plans ($928-$1,089).

Removes the annual adjustment mechanism for base contributions that was tied to Medicare Part B premium rate changes, which had been effective January 1, 2013.

Eliminates detailed statutory requirements for how contributions were calculated and adjusted, while maintaining state and county obligations to pay contributions without specifying exact amounts.

Updates cross-references in sections 87A-34, 87A-35, and 87A-36 to remove references to the repealed contribution amounts in section 87A-33(b).

Takes effect upon approval.
