Requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources to appoint volunteer personnel and enforcement officers from the conservation and resources enforcement program to assist with water safety at canoe and yacht races

Addresses the ongoing challenge of maintaining separation between racing yachts and canoes from other boats operating in the same water areas

Authorizes use of volunteers under existing statutory authority (Hawaii Revised Statutes section 199-1) that already permits appointment of enforcement officers on a voluntary, unpaid basis

Directs transmission of a certified copy of this concurrent resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources
