Urges government, non-profit, and private health care organizations to collaborate in increasing obesity-related services and counseling in accordance with Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) guidelines.

Requests the Department of Health establish the Obesity Prevention Healthcare Reimbursement Task Force with up to 25 members to assess gaps in provider services, investigate reimbursement options, educate providers, and encourage utilization of available reimbursement options.

Directs the task force to research obesity prevention reimbursement practices in other states and develop recommendations for increasing obesity-related services through additional diagnostic codes, training, education, or other strategies.

Requires the task force to submit findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2014 Regular Session convenes.

Task force members serve without compensation, the Department of Health shall provide a facilitator, and the task force ceases to exist on June 30, 2014.
