Requests the University of Hawaii at Hilo Director of Intercollegiate Athletics to establish a task force to study the feasibility of forming a men's volleyball team at UH Hilo.

Task force membership must include at least one representative from: UH Hilo Chancellor's office, County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development, two volleyball community advocates (appointed by House and Senate education committee chairs), and one travel industry member.

Task force members serve without compensation and must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2014 Regular Session convening.

Task force is set to cease operations on June 30, 2014.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the UH Hilo Chancellor, UH Hilo Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, and County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development Director.
